The outsole shape is also wide, especially in the toe box. As I said, the shoe is quite wide, but not just in the upper. When laced properly, then Nike React Infinity Run works very well. Only then the shoe didn’t feel loose-fitting and I could enjoy the whole run without risking injuries from incorrect treading and movements of my heels inside the shoe. I had to tighten the shoelaces stronger before every run. Well, the upper is maybe even looser than is desirable. Thus, in the case of Nike React Infinity Run, I had no problems with scratches on my heel as with Epic React Flyknit 2. In this case, even though the shoe is quite a bit heavier, the upper is wider and more stretchy than in Nike Epic React Flyknit 2. It feels actually very similar to the earlier model Nike Epic React Flyknit 2. Well responsive and making you run easily long distances than in most other running shoes. The React midsole feels brisk and energetic. Having used it for more than a hundred miles (160 km), Nike proved that this model has been proposed really adequately. So even when the shoes get worn out a bit and start to be dusty and white is not the real white anymore, you will keep visible on the road because of those reflective parts! That was pretty cool. Not only because of the white design on the surface of the upper, but the logo, the same as the ankle green collar is very reflective. #Nike epic react plusFor a night run, this is a small plus point. The shoes are incredibly shiny and reflective. (It also looks pretty damn cool, if you ask us.If you get the white version that is the most common on the market, you won’t fail to notice the ultimately luminescent design. As for the piece of the sole that extends back beyond the heel cup, almost like a sneaker spoiler? That's just to increase stability around the heel. And unlike ZoomX, which was built for elite runners at the top level of competition, Nike React is the brand's most durable foam ever, meaning it'll stand up to your daily runs. That said, the foam tapers off towards the toe, where it isn't as needed. Design-wise, like the Nike Zoom Vaporfly 4% from last year (which featured a different new Nike foam called ZoomX), the Epic React Flyknit has a thicker midsole than on previous Nike sneakers to accommodate the extra soft cushioning. The key to React is that it's light but also super-responsive, which means that you'll bounce off the ground but won't feel like you're running in sand. According to Nike, React delivers 13 percent greater energy return than Nike’s latest generation of Nike Lunarlon foam. But the real star of the show here is Nike's new React foam, a proprietary tech that's an improvement on Nike's previous soles, like Lunarlon. #Nike epic react fullThe Epic React Flyknit, as its name implies, comes with a full Flyknit upper, which is designed to be supportive in the right places as opposed to everywhere, like the midfoot and heel (which is reinforced with a plastic heel cup). But Nike, fresh off a year that saw them swing for the fences to reassert their dominance over a surging Adidas, has just delivered another major threat to the Ultra Boost's reign-the Nike Epic React Flyknit. They essentially shattered the standard for just how bouncy an everyday sneaker could be, and thanks to their sock-like upper also ushered in a new era of sneakers with laces as barely more than an aesthetic addition (if they were included in the design at all). Since it debuted in 2014, the Adidas Ultra Boost has been the kind of casual and ultra-comfortable running sneakers people really seem to want to wear right now.
